Rush Promotional Items Dilemma

After Work

If there’s one person I hate in this world right now, that would definitely be working for my boss. Call me an ingrate, but that’s what I feel today, and as long as this is a free country, I’ll keep on thinking aloud. Why the hostility? Last week, he gave me a task. He wanted me to get some logo printed promotional items for an upcoming convention.

He wanted me to get some logo printed promotional awards and recognition items. Apparently, he was asked to sponsor those stuff, and he just remembered it almost at the same time he told it to me.

The task would have been easier if he just told me all about it ahead of time. I was even on vacation when he told it to me, which was like adding insult to injury on my part. Anyway, enough with the ranting. To make the story short, I immediately went online to find some suppliers crazy enough to accept rush promotional materials. I placed my coupon codes to make it easier for me, and to at least get some discounts and freebies.

In the end, I was able to get logo printed promotional caps and hats aside from the awards that he needed. On top of that, it was delivered right before he left for the airport. Those promotional products really made my vacation a dull one. I expected to get some time off for myself, and this is what I got. I’m demanding a raise.
